It features Benelli’s Advanced Impact barrel and chokes which utilizes meticulously designed ballistic contours to enhance energy and velocity as well as improving penetration and shot density. The heart of the ETHOS is Benelli’s renowned Inertia Driven System. This extremely reliable action is composed of just 3 main parts – the bolt body, inertia spring, and rotating bolt head – and harnesses the inertia of recoil to cycle the next round. This simple, yet robust system eliminates the need to make adjustments, and is able to handle the lightest field loads to heavy magnum shells. The Inertia Driven System prevents residue from entering the action and ensures the gas, smoke, and burnt powder remain in the barrel. This makes the Inertia Driven System run significantly cleaner than gas systems.
