The Manifold with RC-52 (SC-60) cell and base 94113 uses patented technology in the form of a bypass manifold that comes to you as a pre- assembled unit made to control the flow rate sent to the cell.
The spring check valve housed with in the manifold allows the excess flow, to by-pass the cell. The pool water can then flow at a desired controlled rate through the cell where it is super chlorinated. The in-line strainer on the inlet side of the manifold protects the tri-sensor as well as the cell from debris that could bypass the filter. Having put the stainer close the a connection union allow cleaning and servicing to be done easier.
